Q: Are all HomeWise Agents "Real" REALTORS®? A: Yes. ALL HomeWise Agents are REALTORS® in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS® and abide by its strict ethical code. Q: Are you members of the Multiple Listing Service? A: Yes, we are a Full Service Company. Our listings are posted in all applicable multiple listing services. We are currently members of FMLS (First Multiple Listings Services), GAMLS (Georgia Multiple Listing Services), Athens MLS (Athens GA Multiple Listing Services), REALTOR.com Listing Services. Q: If my HomeWise REALTOR® collects the $2,900 "Flat Fee" for selling my home, are there any other "Hidden" fees or charges? A: Absolutely Not. As a matter of fact, the $2,900 "Flat Fee" is paid at closing. HomeWise REALTORS® does not make a penny until your home is SOLD! Q: How much commission is paid if another REALTOR® other than the one that has my home listed shows and "sells" my home? A: If another REALTOR® presents an acceptable offer for the purchase of your home, and you accept it, then 4.9% of the sales price is paid as commission. The commission would be split up as follows: Your listing agent would receive 1.9% (in lieu of the flat fee) while the other REALTOR® received 3.0% making a total of 4.9% Q: What if my listing agent brings me a lower offer than another agent, but because of the huge savings of paying a flat fee it actually saves me money to accept my listing agents offer? Am I obligated to accept the highest offer even if I net more by excepting the lower offer? A: By law, you are not "required" to accept any offer regardless of how good or bad it is. You are always in complete control. Q: Do all HomeWise REALTORS® charge a flat fee of $2,900 A: All HomeWise REALTORS® are required to charge "Flat Fees" but the amount of that fee is up to each individual REALTOR® (with Broker's permission).
